The anti-ugly Christmas sweater

I'm not a hipster; I have a job.

Having a job has its perks. Mine can include a little bit of travel. Whenever I get booked at a Westin, I get excited. Nevermind that once I shamelessly name-dropped my husband to get a room upgrade to a junior suite at a Hilton. What's with me and Westin? I like the Westin smell; I mean I really like it. It's permeated all over, not just in their hotel amenities. When I walk into a Westin room, the first thing I do is breathe in the scent, and then go huff the linens. Their signature scent White Tea:

It's an incredibly soothing calm fragrance. Excuse me while I go hyperventilate into a leaf-shaped bar of soap.

A sucker for plush towels

Was at the Bay and on a lark bought a Hotel Collection microcotton bath towel

in a distinguished Aegean sea green tone for $18.99 on sale. Turns out these luxurious towels are on Oprah's favorite things of 2012. 

However, this still reigns as my absolute fav: 

Restoration Hardware's Turkish bath towel in Thyme right now on sale for $22.

The two are similar in price but very different in feel depending on personal preference. Both luxurious options worth pursuing.
